Ancilma J. Peters, CSA manages and owns A.J. Peters Associates, LLC. A native of Trinidad and Tobago, Ancilma moved to Massachusetts in 1984 where she served for five years as a religious sister in an Episcopal convent.

After growing up in large family, a supportive community of friends and neighbors and with the influence of her parents, Ancilma learned the importance of hard work, honesty, family and community responsibilities, and believes in giving back to the community in volunteerism.

Ancilma has worked as a legal assistant with attorneys who specialize in Probate and Trusts, and Real Estate transactions for over ten years. Her responsibilities included assisting with preparation of estate planning, conservatorship and guardianship documents; motions/petitions, etc. for filing with the Civil Division; administration of estates, trusts, conservatorships and guardianships; prepared accountings for estates and conservators for submission to the Court; located and transferred assets into trusts; and liaison with financial institutions.

Ancilma was introduced to the field of Daily Money Management in 2001 by an attorney with whom she worked. While providing daily money management services for the next few years, it became obvious that some of the needs of her clients were not being met. Personal Care Management and Mobile Notary Public services were added to the services of A.J. Peters Associates, LLC to fill this gap.

Our clients include individuals; families; travelers; Peace Corps volunteers; home-based businesses; residents of group homes, assisted living, nursing and rehabilitation facilities. While Ancilma has been providing daily money management services since 2001 as a sole proprietor, she formed A.J. Peters Associates, LLC in 2007 which is registered in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
Ancilma is a Certified Senior Advisor (“CSA”) and member of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors (“SCSA”), American Association of Daily Money Managers, and the National Notary Association.
The mission of SCSA is to educate professionals to understand the issues (health, social and financial) which are important to seniors. This knowledge is incorporated into the CSA’s specific field.
