A.J. Peters Associates, LLC

Personal Care Management

In today’s society, people are living longer due to technology; and they are also living further apart from family and friends. As a result, it is more challenging to care for the elderly and disabled.

  • Monitoring the care of your elderly or disabled loved ones whether they live independently, in a group home, or assisted living, nursing or rehabilitation facility;
  • Coordinating and or monitoring care providers;
  • Serving as liaison with care providers;
  • Being a presence to the elderly or disabled while providing comfort to family and friends;
  • Serving as power-of-attorney;
  • Assisting with end-of-life planning and carrying out final wishes;
  • Being a caring and compassionate presence to those making final arrangements after the death of a loved one.

  • Daily Money Management:

    To complement our Personal Care Management services, A. J. Peters Associates, LLC provides Daily Money Management services to those who are physically or emotionally impaired as well as senior citizens, individuals, families, home-based businesses, and travelers. Our Daily Money Management services include:

  • Monitoring mail and monthly bills;
  • Preparing checks for paying bills;
  • Arranging direct deposits and automatic bill payments;
  • Preparing a budget;
  • Negotiating payment plans with creditors;
  • Bookkeeping and preparing accounting for estates, conservators, and trusts;
  • Collating income tax documentation;
  • Serving as Conservator or Representative Payee.

  • Mobile Notary Public:

    It is our hope that our mobile notary public services will also supplement our Personal Care and Daily Money Management services. To assure our wishes are known in times of emergency and at the end of our lives, all adults should have estate planning documents (health care and general durable powers of attorney, living will, and a last will and testament) prepared by an estate planning attorney. Most, if not all, of these documents should be executed in the presence of a notary public. We recognize that it may not be possible for the elderly or physically challenged to travel to a notary public. As a result, A.J. Peters Associates, LLC will come to you and provide notary public services to assist your attorney in getting these necessary documents executed.
